As a rule, the more features a wedding cake has, the plainer a background should be, and vice versa. Lighting is the most important thing to create the right ambiance. At Duuet we recommend having a sharp light on your cake. This doesn’t have to be from above, but it can be very striking. Light from all direction rather than the front will highlight the shape of the wedding cake. Think of the smooth and beautiful surface of white rolled marzipan. With the increasing requirement of dietary. Make sure that you talk to the caterers to find alternative treats. Also, kids may cannot to eat nuts, eggs, milk or wheat.
