Walking through the art-deco lobby into the George Ballroom is like stepping back in time.
Originally opened in the 1860’s, our venue has been lovingly restored to its original period charm. It features wooden floorboards, signature heritage walls, high ceilings with intricate detailing and designer lighting.
This is the ideal location for weddings, birthday parties, corporate functions, product launches and commercial filming and photography.

Capable of hosting up to 150 guests for a sit down dinner (complete with dance floor) or up to 200 guests for stand up cocktail functions, our unique wedding venue is the perfect place to bring all of your favourite people together for your special day.
